Santa Rosa County is a county in the northwest corner of the state of Florida in the United States.
In 2020, there will be 188,000 people living there. Milton, which is in the middle of the county, is the county seat. Navarre, Pace, and Gulf Breeze are also big cities in Santa Rosa County.
With about 45,000 people living there, Navarre is the city with the most people.
Escambia County and Santa Rosa County are both part of the Pensacola Metropolitan Statistical Area.
The U.S. Census Bureau says that the county covers 1,174 square miles (3,040 km2), of which 1,012 square miles (2,620 km2) are land and 162 square miles (420 km2) are water, or 13.8%.
