Osceola County is a county in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is pronounced /siol/ AH-see-OH-l.

As of the 2020 census, there were 6,192 people living there.

This made it the fifth-least populated county in the state.

It is named after Osceola, a Seminole war chief. The town of Sibley, which is the county center, is named for H. H. Sibley of Minnesota.

The county has a total area of 399 square miles (1,030 km2), of which 399 square miles (1,030 km2) are land and 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2) (0.2%) are water, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

It has the third-smallest land area and the smallest overall area of any county in Iowa. Hawkeye Point, which is 1,670 feet (509 m) high, is the highest natural point in Iowa. It is in Osceola County.
