Jerome County is a county in the state of Idaho in the United States.

As of the 2010 Census, there were 22,374 people living in the county.

Jerome is the county seat and the biggest city.

The Idaho Legislature split Lincoln County into two parts on February 8, 1919, to make the county.

It was named after North Side Irrigation Project founder Jerome Hill, his son-in-law Jerome Kuhn, or his grandson Jerome Kuhn, Jr.

The Twin Falls, ID Micropolitan Statistical Area includes Jerome County.

The county has a total area of 602 square miles (1,560 km2), of which 597 square miles (1,550 km2) are land and 5.0 square miles (13 km2) (0.8%) are water, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
