List of Towns, Cities and Villages in Aberdeenshire

One of Scotland’s 32 council areas is Aberdeenshire, which is also known as Aiberdeenshire in Scots and Siorrachd Obar Dheathain in Scottish Gaelic.

Its name comes from the County of Aberdeen, but its borders are very different.

There is part of Banffshire in the Aberdeenshire Council area as well as the historic counties of Aberdeenshire and Kincardineshire.

The area that makes up the Aberdeen City Council area is not in this area. The county lines are used for a few official tasks, such as registering land and letting people rent homes.

The headquarters of Aberdeenshire Council are at Woodhill House in Aberdeen. It is the only Scottish council whose headquarters are not in its own area of responsibility.

There is a separate council area for Aberdeen because it is its own city.

In the east, Aberdeenshire meets Highland and Moray, in the west, Angus and Perth and Kinross, and in the south, Angus and Perth and Kinross.

The number of people living in the council area has grown by more than 50% since 1971, to about 261,470, or 4.7% of all the people living in Scotland.

Scotland’s population has grown by 3.8% since 2001, while Aberdeenshire’s population has grown by 9.1%.

Compared to the Scottish average, the census shows a fairly high percentage of people under 16 and a slightly lower percentage of people of working age.

It is one of the most homogeneous or native areas of the UK to live in Aberdeenshire.

In 2011, 82.2% of residents said they were “White Scottish,” 12.3% said they were “White British,” and only 0.9% said they were from an ethnic minority. At 0.8%, Asian Scottish/British people are the largest minority group.

The majority of people who lived there said they could speak and understand both English and the Scots language.
