West Omo, also known as Mirab Omo, is a zone of Ethiopia’s South-West Ethiopia Peoples’ Region.

The West Omo Zone has a population of 272,943 people, or 12% of the South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Region, with 49.5% men and 50.5% women living in 55,703 homes. Sixty percent were pastoral.
