Hadiya (sometimes transliterated Hadiyya) is a zone in Ethiopia’s Central Regional State.
This zone is named after the Hadiya of the Hadiya Kingdom, whose homeland comprises a portion of the administrative division.
According to the CSA’s 2007 Census, this Zone has a total population of 1,231,196 people, with 612,026 males and 619,170 women.
Hadiya has a population density of 342.64 people per square kilometer and covers 3,593.31 square kilometers.
