Croajingolong
The 37 counties in Victoria make up the cadastral divisions of Australia, which are used to keep track of land titles.
One of these is Croajingolong County.
The Croajingolong National Park is in this county, which is the most eastern of the three. The Snowy River is on its western edge.
It was made a county in 1871, along with others from the Gipps Land District.
Maps from a long time ago showed that the land that is now Croajingolong would be the counties of Howe and Combermere.
