Waradgery
Waradgery County is one of New South Wales’ 141 Cadastral divisions.
It is home to the town of Hay.
It encompasses the area where the Lachlan and Murrumbidgee rivers converge.
The Lachlan River forms the northern boundary of the county, and the Murrumbidgee forms the southern boundary for a small section, but the county also includes some land to the south of the Murrumbidgee near Hay.
The name Waradgery is thought to be derived from a local Aboriginal word (most likely in reference to the Wiradjuri people).
