St Vincent
One of the first nineteen counties in New South Wales was St. Vincent County. It is now one of the state’s 141 cadastral divisions.
It covered the area along the south coast that includes Batemans Bay, Ulladulla, Jervis Bay, and the land up to Braidwood.
Along the north and west sides, the Shoalhaven River forms the border. To the south, the Deua River does the same.
In 1852, there were 2,572 people living there and the area was 1,704,844 acres (6,899.26 km2).
