Macquarie
Macquarie County is one of New South Wales’s 141 Cadastral divisions.
The Apsley River runs through it to the north, and the Manning River runs through it to the south.
It encompasses Port Macquarie and the surrounding area.
The county was named after Governor Lachlan Macquarie (1762-1824).
