Leichhardt
Leichhardt County is one of New South Wales’ 141 Cadastral divisions.
It encompasses land on both sides of the Castlereagh River, including Coonamble, and is located south of the Namoi River.
The county of Leichhardt was named after the Prussian naturalist and explorer Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Leichhardt (1813-1848).
