King
King County is one of New South Wales’ 141 cadastral divisions.
It is located to the east of Yass.
The northern part of it is located between the Lachlan and Boorowa rivers, and includes the towns of Frogmore, Taylors Flat, Gunnary, Rugby, and Rye Park.
The Crookwell River forms part of the northern boundary as well. The Yass River forms the southern limit.
Governor Philip Gidley King (1758-1808) was honoured with the name King County.
