Gregory

Gregory County is one of New South Wales’ 141 Cadastral divisions.

It is bounded on the west by the Bogan River and includes the area northeast of Nyngan.

It encompasses the Macquarie Marshes Nature Reserve as well as the town of Quambone.

Gregory County was named after Sir Augustus Charles Gregory (1819-1905), a surveyor-general and explorer.
