Forbes
Forbes County is one of New South Wales’ 141 Cadastral divisions.
Forbes County was named after Sir Francis Forbes (1784-1841), Chief Justice of the United Kingdom.
It is situated south of the Lachlan River, near Forbes, and extends all the way down to Grenfell.
It encompasses the area east of the Lachlan River to Cowra and the Boorowa River, as well as south to Koorawatha.
